You know Dan’s work of course from his beautiful covers on Danger Girl and a multitude of other very lucky comics and for his stint on the Unknown Soldier with Jimmy Palmiotti and Justin Gray. Currently, Dan is hard at work on a second volume of ‘John Tiffany‘ which is set to be realeased through Le Lombard at the end of this month. You know Marv’s work from The New Teen Titans for which he created Cyborg, Starfire and Raven. He’s also the man responsible for Tomb of Dracula, Blade and Bullseye, Daredevil’s recurring nemesis at Marvel. He is perhaps best known for his (at the time) unprecedented overhaul of the DC Universe along with George Perez on Crisis On Infinite Earths. Joe has been drawing comics since 1942, creating the first 3-D comics and establishing characters such as ‘Tor’, ‘Sgt. Rock’ and ‘Hawkman’ along the way. Joe, along with his wife Muriel, established the Kubert School in 1976. The school boasts names like Stephen Bissette, Shane Davis, Dave Dorman, Karl Kesel, Scott Kolins, Alex Maleev and Tom Mandrake as alumni to name just a few. Joe joins us this week to chat about his school, his career and his thoughts on the future of the industry and much more.
