You know Dan’s work of course from his beautiful covers on Danger Girl and a multitude of other very lucky comics and for his stint on the Unknown Soldier with Jimmy Palmiotti and Justin Gray. Currently, Dan is hard at work on a second volume of ‘John Tiffany‘ which is set to be realeased through Le Lombard at the end of this month. This week on the most swashbuckling LIVE comics radio show, we welcome Mark Waid back into the Monster Cave. Since we last chatted with Mark he has turned Daredevil back into an entertaining book, brought The Indestructible Hulk into the Marvel Now!, released the first issue of his new Dynamite book ‘The Green Hornet’ and he’s just been announced as the writer for IDW’s team up of the Rocketeer and The Spirit. You’ve seen Gabriel’s work on books such as Agents of Atlas and Hulk from Marvel as well as his own book Heathentown from Image/Shadowline. He has also done storyboard work for such films as Inception, Tropic Thunder and X-Men 2. His next project will be Betrayal of the Planet of the Apes from BOOM! Studios, a title he will be drawing and co-writing with Corinna Bechko which hits shelves in November. He joins us this week fresh off his trip to the New York Comic Con where it was announced he will be handling the art duties on Secret Avengers with writer Rick Remender starting with issue 22.
